Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy launched Jagananna Vidya Kanuka on 9 October 2020. As part of the program, the Government of Andhra Pradesh would distribute government school children with kits that would include 3 pairs of uniform, one pair of shoes, 2 pairs of socks, textbooks, notebooks, belt, school bag to 42,34,322 students at a cost of 350 Crores in line with his poll promises.
Whether GoAP prints the name of the scheme instead of the school name on the items of the school kits. The majority of us would outrightly say, “No!”, however, the reality is completely different. After the recent setbacks in state high courts and supreme courts on the colors to the government buildings, we would have opinionated it to be no added with the comments of Jagan Mohan Reddy criticizing the then TDP government and its chief Chandrababu Naidu about his overindulgence in publicity.
Did Jagan Mohan Reddy print the name of the scheme instead of the school name in the distribution of Jagananna Vidya Kanuka kits? Yes, this is true and a fact.
The YSRCP government used the name of the scheme instead of the name of the individual schools on the school belts, school bags, etc.
Before the 2019 elections in the State, then YSRCP leaders like Ms. Roja criticized Chandrababu Naidu for using his name in the schemes. But at present even though the school children are not spared by their propaganda, the current YSRCP leaders are appreciating their CM for the same.
Conclusion: The fact check is true.
