A police case in the sections of IPC and Disaster Management Act has been filed against Telugu Desam Party Chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu. As per the reports, the police complaint was lodged by a Kurnool-based lawyer named Masugopu Subbaiah alleging that Naidu made false assumptions on the N440k strain of Coronavirus and created panic among the people in the Kurnool area.
N.Chandrababu Naidu as a leader has always been known as a ‘futurist’ in the political fraternity of the nation. As per the reports, N. Chandrababu Naidu held a virtual session concentrating on the Covid19 crisis with some of the reputed medical experts where he raised his various standpoints concerning the second wave covid19 crisis in the state of Andhra Pradesh and India.
After doing a cross-check, even our team has understood that there were multiple news reports published in the last week stating the concerns over N440k covid strain in the state of Andhra Pradesh and identifying its development from the district of Kurnool.
Keeping the Andhra Pradesh state politics, the case against the TDP Chief has mostly been understood as a step of ‘vendetta politics’. Lashing out against this, Telugu Desam Party representatives have pointed out that the information regarding the concerns on the covid strain has been there in the national media reports for some time and Andhra Pradesh has been doing a poor performance from the wake of the second wave of Covid19 pandemic. The state has been reporting 20 thousand cases on average and tens of people are dying. TDP representatives have condemned the deliberate actions against their top leader and marked it as blatant behavior by the ruling YSRCP against the opposition front.
